Would you find out?

Just had our 20 week scan and all was good (2nd baby) MIL was quite ill at the time (touch and go if she would pull through but seems like all will be fine now!) so we got the sonogropher to put the sex of the baby in a sealed envelope so MIL could have a surprise. Turns out she did not want to know and now there is an envelope with the info on just sitting there! We did not find out with the first (a boy) and we're not planning on knowing this time but just the temptation that the result is there is really bugging me!! I would quite like a girl but would be happy with a boy too (and more practical) should I look or be good and wait?!?

Ah...If I was in this position I'd HAVE to look. Flip a coin leave it to chance. If is what it is- a healthy happy loved baby so knowing the gender won't chance that!

If you don't want to know burn the envelope or it'll taunt you until you crack and look. You'll find out eventually anyway!

Turns out MIL does know! I don't have access to the envelope- it's at hospital and I have a rotten cold so not going up at all. i think I would still like a surprise had a bad birth last time and was lovely to have that experience of finding out! Just so tempting

Arr don't ruin the surprise you'll wish you didn't if you planned on not knowing!
On the other hand, I'm finding out cos I am impatient lol
