I don't normally have a great deal of sleep to start with having to get up and down to go to the loo but the past 2 nights I'm finding waking up and being wide awake not needing the loo and being comfortable, I'm 39 weeks with dc2 but didn't have this the 1st time from what I can remember but its so anoying . Any tips on how to get them well needed few hours of sleep before the baby comes ?
I do also have a toddler who wakes around 2.30am and comes in my bed so I do have a pattern of waking anyway but not to this extent.
Thanks in advance xx

I'm 37+3 and have been experiencing this for a fair few weeks now, have been using my hypnobirthing cd to send me back off to sleep again.

I'm ok in that its my first so can nap during the day. Is there anything you have used to help you sleep in the past such as reading, or warm drink?

39 weeks tomorrow and exactly the same. Maybe download a Hypnobirthing/relaxation app and listen on your phone? Are you able to nap in the day?

Will try the relaxation app and depending on how my little girl feels at nap time sometimes we get an hour but other times nothing at all she's full of energy bless her. Hoping baby comes soon I see the consultant Monday see about getting started of as I have extreme SPD. Will deco download a few bits to put on tonight thanks ladies xx
