Smoked cooked salmon

Is it ok to eat lightly smoked salmon that needs to go into the oven ? I couldn't find that info online all people are saying stay away from smoked salmon but if I cook it in the oven I presume it's fine to eat ? Many thanks

Both smoked salmon and cooked salmon are allowed

NHS says smoked salmon fine, my local MWs I've asked have said not to have it.....I've chosen not to eat it as there have been a few recalls in UK over last few years due to listeria. But I guess ultimate risk is still pretty low for NHS to say its okay!
