woke up this morning with the worst bowels ever. Had really bad cramping until I went, now I just have period pains, feeling like I need to go again but unable to Confused is this normal? Baby's moving around rapidly and I'm scared it's distressing him. Also when I did go, my bump went really tight and tensed upConfused

Sounds like the start of labour to me!

CanIGoToBedNow · 07/05/2015 08:40

Sounds like you're going into labour - good luck!

Chickenfillets · 07/05/2015 08:42

Really?? I don't have any severe pains just period pains that come for a few seconds then go again. I feel completely normal in every other way though? Just feels like a dicky stomach.

The diarrhoea is just your body clearing out getting ready for baby coming.... So hopefully no 'accidents' when you're pushing!

Period pains and bump tightening could possibly be Braxton Hicks or contractions!

Chickenfillets · 07/05/2015 08:45

Oooo how exciting Smile thanks!

Baby's coming Grin

Sweetpea80 · 07/05/2015 10:52

Definitely sounds like labour is starting. I had exactly the same symptoms when I had my DD2.
good luck Chickenfillets Flowers

HollyJollyDillydolly · 07/05/2015 10:54

This is how my labour with my ds started, the runny tummy cramps were actually early contractions. See if they increase or become regular. Good luck!

OMGBabyNo3 · 07/05/2015 11:12

I also had to wee loads in labour because baby was wriggling down to get out. Hopefully not long now then.

Chickenfillets · 07/05/2015 13:42

Managed to go toilet again and pains seem to have died down Sad maybe it was just a dicky tummy.
