Baby's head down 28+2

Is this unusual? 3rd baby.
Had weird cramps and at My 28 week midwife app the midwife said after feeling baby that the pains will be him turning. She remarked he's ahead of himself as he's head down already. He's preficted to be a biggish baby and 4 weeks ahead at moment

Not at all. I'm pretty sure this baby was head down at the 20 week scan, and is still at 38 weeks.

Thank you that's reassuring. Midwife said he won't move now he's head down, was just worried Incase he came early but if your 38 weeks I won't worry

My baby was head down at 20 weeks, breech at 26 week scan, transverse at 30 weeks and head down at 32 week scan. She's now moved back to transverse at 34 weeks! There's still lots of room for them to move especially in subsequent pregnancies (this is my 3rd)...

DS was head down from very early on. Came at 40+5. Very laid back little boy.

Mine was breach at 20 weeks and head down from 21 weeks and has stayed that way. Am now 37 weeks :)

DD was head down at 29 weeks and I had to be induced at 40+5 so it doesn't necessarily mean anything! All the best for the rest of your pregnancy!
