Hello all,
Apologies in advance for the TMI. I am 38+4 weeks. Had my 'show' at 37 weeks which lasted for 5 days. Ever since i have noticed an increase in discharge, its mostly clear, muscusy and can leave light milky show in underwear. It is enough for me to wear a panty liner but not sure if it is enough to worry that i am leaking fluid. I figured that if i were leaking it would be noticable but now i am not so sure. I have also noticed a strong smell. Not fishy or unpleasent but strong enough for me to notice when i am bending over...I am worried other people can small me too. I highly doubt it is an infection as have no other symptoms so am wondering if its just part of late pregnancy.
Does anyone else have this or have experienced this? I mentioned it at my last midwife app but unfort my doctor does not have a regular midwife so i have never seen the same one consistently. When i mentioned it to the last midwife who was as locom, she didnt seem worried and almost brushed it off without any quesitons.
I can still feel baby move so know she is fine but am still a llittle concerned.

Sounds like body is preparing you for labour.
Could be the mucus plug starting to come away. Also wearing a panty liner makes any smell stronger so it could be an ordinary smell but mixed with chemicals of panty liner will make it seem really strong. If your waters were leaking then said panty liner would be wet rather than dischargy
