Potential prolapsed uterus and incompetent cervix

Hi I lost my little boy in December at 25 weeks when I went into preterm labour due most likely to an incompetent cervix. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and got a cervical cerclage about 10 days ago. A couple of days later I felt like I had a tampon stuck in me (sorry tmi!). After having a quick feel and realising my cervix is very low (I know I shouldn't have), lots of research and speaking with my doctor it seems my cervix (well uterus) is prolapsing. Has anyone had any experience of these two things together?! Or any advice on either? X

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. Flowers Flowers I don't have any advice for you - I have incompetent cervix but not so severely, I had DC1 prematurely and DC2 was born almost at term after strict bed rest. There is a thread here with some others who have had short cervix, cerclage etc. - perhaps someone there has some experience to offer.

Good luck - hope the cerclage holds.
