I'm due in 8 weeks and people keep telling me they think I'll be early ( not sure what they are basing their opinions on though)
Should I pack bag now?

Last time my waters suddenly broke at 35 weeks before I had packed anything. I had to go in straight away and send dp home with a list then he brought in all of the wrong bloody things eg. I asked him for a nightie and he brought in my posh silky evening dress Hmm.

This time I will be packing well in advance!

I think it would make sense to have an overnight bag, plus a separate bag in case of a longer stay, with lots of extra clothes etc. This could be left at home or in the car boot for your dh to bring if needed.

I'd take lots of snacks, eye mask (they never seem to turn the lights off at night), ear plugs, flip flops, paracetamol, lightweight dressing gown (as hospitals are normally baking hot).

The one tip I was given was flip flops

It is all a bit hazy despite being 18 months ago but I have a feeling I didn't really pack until the night before my elcs at 39 +6. Didn't know I was having it until a couple of days before though so I was just being disorganised.
This time I have to go to a wedding at the other end of the country at 37 weeks so I will have to pack it before that!
