I did an NCT first aid course for babies and children a few weeks ago, cost £45 for myself and my husband and was done with the red cross. It was really good and am glad we did it. British red cross also have a first aid app which lists courses on it as well.

British Red Cross can do Everyday First Aid course for groups like Mother and Baby Clubs, ask your local group/MV/Sure Start/Childrens Centre to organise it.
They also have 2 EDFA apps that you can download to iPhone/iPad. There is general one and Child and baby one. They are free to download and are brilliant, containing advice, videos, and tests on knowledge. Really excellent for learning what to do in emergencies and always available to refer to. www.redcross.org.uk and search for 'edfa app'
