Hi Nadine,
I am 5 weeks too and just have heavy boobs and feel a bit sick, so try not to worry.
Symptoms usually dont kick in until 7 weeks ish and so what you are feeling at the moment is perfectly normal.
Try not to panic and look towards your scan next week.
Sending you much love this morning
Lou

please try not to worry - it is common not to feel much in the way of symptoms at this stage. I was fine until 6-7 weeks when the nausea started. If you are feeling very worried perhaps you could talk to a midwife? Best wishes. xxx

thanks so much its comforting to know others feel the same i think because of what happened before i am over paranoid, have either of u ever m/c?

No I havent M/C and can only imagine how devastating it was for you and your DH.
But concentrate on the little one inside you now, and yourself and take things one day at a time.

Hi Nadine, I've had 4 missed m/cs but I have 2 DCs and another one due in December. Please try not to worry. Unfortunately m/cs are common (and devastating) but it doesn't mean you won't have a happy outcome this time. Like others say, symptoms don't kick in until after 6 weeks usually, sometimes later, plus the mind is quite powerful and can make you think you don't feel pg. I know, it happened to me with each of mine.
Good luck

hello Nadine

I am 18+2 and have never had many symptoms - heavy boobs which were a bit sore sometimes, and I became quite sleepy from about 8-12 weeks, but that was it. Please try not to read anything sinister into your lack of symptoms, especially at this early stage.

Congratulations!
Every pregnancy is different, Nadine. With dd1 and ds I was as sick as a dog, with dd2 I wouldn't have known I was pregnant (until I started getting very round). It must be a very anxious time for you - try to relax and stay positive. Hoping for the best possible news for you on the 17th!

Nadine - I am now 11 pg and had a missed mc in May. I know exactly what you are going through. I had a scan at 6wks and there was a heartbeat. I had another at 9wks and everything was fine.

Even now my symptoms have only been slight. I have only felt sick very occasionally and my boobs are tender but they don't "hurt".

I am very tired, but often think my symptoms have just disappeared.

Try not to worry too much, you're 7 wk scan will give you some of peace of mind, as once there's a heartbeat the chances of mc reduce dramatically. If ms truelly kicks in after that you're feel crap but worry less. But if it doesn't - remember that ms only affects 2 in 3 women, some have nothing atall.

Good luck xx
