38wks mucus plug

I'm 38wks with dc2 was in hospital yesterday were midwife done internal to see if she could stir things up and get things moving. Been to loo and found greenish mucus plug. How much long could it be before things kick of she said I was 2cm dilaited but 2cm long, been so uncomfortable all night and can hardly walk but no bad contractions just the odd 1 every hour and some are hit and mis.
Hoping he will be here soon I'm so drained now and he's going to be a canny size according to the measurements around 8lb14 or more.

It was 3 days after for me so it doesn't necessarily mean that somethings gonna happen any minute but you're obviously moving in the right direction.

Make sure you mix up rest with pottering. And I would be having nice easily digestible things to eat and drink. Very exciting!

Thanks hehe I havnt got much appetite at all but trying to eat little and often I can't wait for it to be over now I feel like a whale and my daughter takes heaps of energy fingers crossed then xx
