Anyone else waiting for the 'glowing' to start? and the hair to look nice and thick?? and to stop feeling so sluggish and yucky? and the spots to go?! 20 weeks and waiting for the so called 'energy' of the 2nd trimester to kick in....!!

If 'glowing' is code for hot and red then I'm in! Sadly, no glow here, just swollen feet and a sweaty face! X

Exactly Annie, I like Kate Middleton too but if we all had someone to come and wash and blow dry our hair for us every morning and do our make up then I think we'd all look slightly better..but we live in the real world unfortunately!

My chest, between-boobs, hairlines framing my face, chin and forehead are covered in granular spots - like broken pebbles on a previously smooth road. Spots all around, everywhere - if theres a pore, there is a spot.

Blearrrrgh.

20 weeks and not even a hint of elusive glow here. [fans self]
Very nice swollen feet and ankles, however.

Sometimes I dry heave so much I sweat. That sort of looks like a glow .

I "glowed" last time. I had about morning sickness from weeks 5-13 and after that it vanished and had so much energy that I was running around until 41 +3 when they induced me.

This time round I'm on week 20 and still throwing up, constantly tired, nauseous and can't wait for it to be over. Sad

I nostly noticed it unhappening after. Especially with my last, in my 40s. It was like pregnant and bf hormones rolled back some sign of aging (new hairs on various body parts disappearred, skin cleared up, hair, though grey, thickened) and then were holding back 18 months of continuing aging. Then BAM! it all unloaded at once plus I regained 20 lbs i had lost during the trying to get pregnant at 38, 39, 40 stage.

21 weeks and still haven't got the elusive "glow". Unless by "glow" you mean "glowing representation of one of those mugshots of what crystal meth does after 5 years"?

Because I can so do limp hair and spotty-scab face...Wink

craftynanny · 07/05/2015 23:33

pah ha mummy, yes my hair gets greasy SO quickly! people keep saying I'm glowing but I know I'm definitely not- I think they just think that's what you have to say to a pregnant lady??
