Has bending over the bath tub hurt my baby??

I realise this may seem a silly question but I'm to embarrassed to ask my MW because im always calling her and stressing. The other day I treated my hair to a hair mask. It was one of these hour long masks you then obviously wash out. Anyway it was thick and there was loads. I spent about half an hour leaning over the bath tub washing the stuff out. I ended up hurting my back ... But also, ever since I've noticed that my tummy is very sore. Tender like. I think I've maybe strained a muscle meaning over like that for so long bein as big as I am. Now I'm terrified ive damaged my baby Sad ... What if I've squashed her?? Hurt her? Is this likely or am I being irrational?

you may have pulled a muscle but you wont have hurt your baby, they are in a lot of protection in there. Smile Flowers

Thanks dita. I'm such a paranoid wreck with this pregnancy. I don't remember ever being this paranoid when pregnant with my son which is weird because it's usually your first your more scared about. But every little thing I do I'm crippled with anxiety. I keep thinking I
Just have squashed her wee face and head leaning over like that for so long and that I've probably damaged her now Sad x

You probably haven't hurt your baby, and you have probably just pulled a muscle, but if you have pain in your belly whilst pregnant I don't think your midwife will blame you for getting it checked out. X

I've done some pretty drastic bending during this pregnancy and had the same thought! Baby is so well protected tho. My second pregnancy too and I sooo much more paranoid as well! Weird isn't it? I honestly think if bending like that was bad, pregnancy yoga would be outlawed.
