Clear watery discharge

I am 11wks pg tomorrow.

Yesterday evening I had a gush of watery discharge. No odour or colour, just clear and enough to soak through my pants onto the lining of my trousers. Started and finished within an hour.
None last night and this morning, there is a tiny amount of the same on my pants.

What could this be?

Should I be worried and should I contact EPU or GP?

Thanks for your advise.

I think it is normal to have all sorts of discharge during pregnancy - ranging from clear to white. As long as it isn't yellow (which may be an infection) or bloody then I think what you have is perfectly normal.

If you are still worried, mention it to your midwife or GP next time you see them.

a gush? I think I'd get that checked out personally .. a call to the midwife

Yeah, a gush sounds strange, could you have had a tiny wee without noticing?

Juicylucythe2nd · 06/11/2006 10:37

It would have been more than a tiny wee. I call it a gush as it all came out within a short time 1/2 to an hour.

I will call the surgery, but I think the mw is only there tomorrow.

either a wee....sorry....or something that should be checked out...either at the EPAU or go to A&E.......gush sounds different to the discharge you get in pregnancy...and copious discahrge more common later on i believe.......

i'd go to a&e
