Hi Ladies, okay I just did something really silly. I am 5w4d pregnant and still at the stage where i forget I am pregnant. Anway today my three year old daughter accidentely locked herself in her bedroom. I got really nervous and I lifted my leg up to my waist and smashed my foot into the door twice to try and open it. I then realized what I was doing and stopped. I have not had any pain but am feeling sick with worry that I could have hurt the baby since I am at the vital stage of development. What do you think?

try not to worry, redhead, babies are very well-protected in the womb, especially when they are so tiny. i'm sure that you haven't done any harm at all, but it might be time to get yuor daughter's door handle looked at so this doesn't happen again in seven months time when your tummy is enormous.

not at all......your tiny baby is protected within the uterus which is still low down in the pelvic cavity which is extra protection at this early stage.......of course, it is normal to worry....but everything should be just fine........agree with Aitch you should change the door handle though! take care xx

You ladies are so great. I know I sound crazy but I'm so worried all the time. The silly thing is I already have one great daughter and said I would not worry this time and here I am again, sounding like the crazy woman. When is everyone due. Im 5th July 2007.

lulumama you'll make a great doula, your advice is always there and sooo reassuring. If I was in your area I'd hire your sevices. Long trip to France though. Expensive for me. best of luck in your new adventure.

Sorry redhead07702 for hijacking your thread. Best of luck in your pregnancy. Have you found the due July 07 thread in the ante-natal section? I'm on the May 07 one.
