Nervous about asking for ELCS

Just found out I'm pregnant with dc2
Had a really bad and long birth with dc1 that ended in emergency cs.
I'm really hoping to have an elective this time around as I also have herpes and worried about having an episode around the time of birth.
I'm a bit of a pushover though and am worried that the midwife/consultant will push me for a natural delivery. Anybody have any experiences of this or any advice?

You should read my post just down a bit about a planned section at 38 weeks. I have severe mental health problems that this pregnancy has made much worse. I'm having a scion in 18 days because of it. My phsichiatrist contacted the obstetric Doctor and they decided together it was best for me to have baby by section as quickly as healthily possible for baby. I hope they are as helpful with you if your sure it's what you want xx
