Can you feel your uterus?

I'm 5+4. I can feel - bear this me this is difficult to describe - a warmth in my very low abdomen (just where my pubic bone ends). Sometimes it feels a little throbby, like blood is pumping. I have had that sensation during periods before but not always. Since last week, I will that when I am really quiet and chilling. Could it be my womb just doing its thing and growing stuff inside?

Anyone else feels that?

To be honest, 5+4 is a bit too early to feel anything physical like that related to your pregnancy as your womb is tucked away much further back inside you and is still not grown much (the embryo is the size of a poppyseed at that stage).
I'm just over 12 weeks and can just feel the top of my womb beginning to protrude above my pelvis.
Stay patient as there'll definitely be a bump and more phsically signs soon!

I can definitely feel like there is something in there, but I'm almost 10 weeks, so not sure if what you feel at 5 weeks could be uterus? It's a bit too early.. I didn't feel anything 'being present there' at 5 weeks, except for the cramps which do feel like the period ones... However everyone is different! Good luck with your pregnancy!

I don't feel anything protruding. Just a warmth and a flow sometimes. I'm not suggesting I can feel the embryo or anything. I feel plenty of cramps but these to me are indistinguishable from period or ovulation pain. The warmth thing is quite different from that. Maybe it's a side - effect of increased blood flow to the area.

Possibly a side effect of your increased mental attention to the area?

Say, if you focussed on one particular hand for a while you might have heightened sensation there since thats where all your attention is. Maybe same sort of thing?
