is this normal? 15 weeks and stabbing pain in breast

im 15 weeks and all day i have been getting a stabbing pain in my left breast. its like someone is stabbing a knitting needle or even a knife into it.

in the same area every time.

anybody else had this and what the heck is it?

I'm having this exact same pain it's awful I think it's just boobs growing and filling, but it's like an achey stabbing pain

Funnily it's my left boob too and I'm 14 weeks

I think it sounds like a normal pregnancy niggle but if it lasts overnight get it checked.

I had that. At the same time I had an itchy back. Same spot as sore boob, but on back obviously. Just one spot. Drove me nuts!

Both went not long after though, haven't came back (yet)

already had sore nipples so this is just another flipping niggle (shouldnt complain had it easy up until now).

I've had this. No idea what it was but it went away after a while!

god yes, my left boob did this for about 12 hours. it was so bad that i would yelp.

the internet told me the technical term is "lightning boob"!

ive been letting out little yelps, almost takes your breath away.

now im thinking oh heck if this is whay breast feeding feels like i duno if ill be good at it.

I had this and had a google and in general it seemed consensus was its your breasts getting ready for making milk....to me it felt like a hot poker!

I havent had it for a couple of weeks now so it did clear up!

that is exactly the sensation! stabbing and hot and bloody painful.

I had this.

I was told it is to do with the development of your milk ducts.

thanks works thats a relief. thankfull it seems to have subsided now

Mines stated in the other boob along with heartburn, lovely Sunday eve haha x
