Birth centre is for low risk women and you'll have to meet certain criteria to qualify at 37 weeks. Some are on the same site as the hospital if you need to transfer. There are some pain relief you can't have in the birth centre (I think a spinal?) bit it's supposed to be a more homely experience.
Delivery suite is in the hospital itself. Some aren't that different to the birth centre in many ways e.g. at mine there's still a water birth option on the ward.

I'm high risk so can't even look at the birth centre. Good luck with your pregnancy
