Could I be pregnant?

20/04/2015.
Hi,

I'm new here and not too sure how to say this.
Basically I have a really weird feeling that I could be pregnant, I am not on any contraception and me and my partner do not use protection.
My cycles are normally 28 days and the day of my last period was the 3/04/2015.
But I've had quite a few symptoms such as bloated stomach and cramping, waves of nausea, extremely sore/sensitive/slightly itchy breasts, dizziness and light headedness.
My period is due in 7 days, although I am always a bit impatient so I did a pregnancy test tonight (it was a 25ml hcg one) and it came up negative.
Now I am very very confused as to what my body is playing at, or whether I have just been too impatient and taken a test too early.

22/04/2015. So abit of an update for you. My period is due in 5 days. All yesterday at work I had a weird achy feeling in my pelvis, it was a kind of growing pain if that makes sense? Then last night I started spotting a bit, but it was only every time I wiped. It started again this morning and I got a few blobs on my underwear. I have just been to the bathroom and the brown has stopped, I have a very, very faint growing pain feeling in my abdomen, its not too bad, it isn't catching my attention, sooo. The funny thing is, there is barely anything on the paper when I wipe, but there is a little tiny bit of light pink on there.

Any advice anyone could give to me at all please? :)

I'll be honest, you're probably not going to get a lot of responses to this thread - because the answer is that no-one can tell you! Smile

7 days ahead of your period is way to early to take a test. Even the very sensitive ones will pick up nothing until 5 days before.

Take a test once you're within a few days of your period. Try First Response, don't bother with supermarket cheapies or expensive ClearBlue. Use first morning urine. And bear in mind that you may still get a negative, even if you are pregnant, up to the day of your missed period. Many people get negatives a few days after their missed periods, depends on their HCG level, the brand of test and the time of day they test.

The symptoms you describe are consistent with pregnancy - the spotting could be an implantation bleed - but they're also consistent with your period.

I hope you get the result that's right for you.
