Finally had my first scan

I got pregnant on the pill and had no idea of my dates etc.
Well I had my first scan today and I'm 16 + 6 which I couldn't believe as I'm still by usual size 8.
However it's great actually knowing, everything appeared to be fine and I'm officially in the October due date club.
What a relief!

Thanks bshorty, I was so relieved!
I thought I may be about 13 weeks (so wasn't concerned about missing nuchal test) and mil said to not to expect to see a proper baby.
I got the shock of my life when we could see arms, legs, fingers, heart chamber etc perfectly!!!

Wow, your scan sounds superb! I couldnt imagine being told I'm 3weeks further on than I thought I was (I'm a meticulous day-counter!)

Also super jealous of you still being a size 8 ... I'm 10 weeks and all bloat! White bread is all that makes me feel good and my jeans will no longer do up comfortably.
