First consultant appointment - what to expect?

Hi.

I'm 22+4 and have my first appointment with an obstetric consultant tomorrow, due to having a bicornulate uterus.

I was thinking it will involve a talk and maybe an examination but I really don't know.

I'd be very interested to hear what has happened at other people's consultant appointments, particularly the initial one.

Thanks :)

Mine was to check my cervix following treatment the previous year. Started with a initial chat then a transvaginal scan, and then given expectations of future appointments.

Thanks, that's really helpful to know.

Mine was pretty much just a chat, about previous operations and placenta praevia. She went through my notes mainly and the scans etc. I think they did urine and blood pressure like at a midwife appt. Yours might be different to mine as it's for a different condition though.
