25 week appointment

I have my 25 week appointment booked and I'll actually be 25+2 on the day. I keep reading about this matb1 form or something that I need to take to work before 25 weeks. Is this going to be a problem? I have no idea what I'm doing and now this is stressing me out Sad

You need to let work know your intentions about when you go on maternity leave, they don't need the matb1 form with it, just when you've got it.

I had my 25 wk today at 25+3 and got my form, submitted it to work with a cover letter of expected start and finish dates for my leave and they were fine. Most employers will be flexible as it's not always possible to do it excatly at 25 wks, as long as you don't leave it too late.

Generally if they already know you are pregnant then the rest is just formalising it and the MAT B1 allows them to sort out the maternity pay from their end.

Phew, thank you guys!! They know I'm pregnant so it's just a matter of deciding when to leave and go back I guess :/
