Hello,
I have recently discovered that I'm expecting baby number 2. I'm very excited as with my little boy it took 5 years of trying and this one is a happy surprise!
If all goes well with this one(I'm very anxious as had 3 miscarriages before my son) then I will have a 21 month old and a newborn! Unplanned like I said but I wouldn't change it for the world!!
What are your age gaps?

When this one will be born 5 years and 5 months. Wanted a smaller gap but took 3 years to get pg with this one

StoneBaby · 20/04/2015 18:55

And congratulations

lexyloub · 20/04/2015 19:19

3 boys 7.5 5 and 8 weeks

roughtyping · 20/04/2015 19:25

When this one is born, there will be nearly 12 years between them and my DS.

Anotheronesoon · 20/04/2015 19:26

18 months. I'm very tired- but happy!

FeelTheNoise · 20/04/2015 19:27

DC1 is at college, DC2 is due this autumn Grin

mewkins · 20/04/2015 19:29

A nearly 5 yo and a 10mo.

weelamb123 · 20/04/2015 19:29

9 years, but took 4 1/2 years to conceive with this one. Would have preferred smaller age gap but at least at 9 I should have a mini helper xxx

TywysogesGymraeg · 20/04/2015 19:31

20 months between my DDs. Bloody hard work at first, but IMO, the perfect age gap.

CherryLips1980 · 20/04/2015 19:39

DD has just turned 17months, #2 is due tomorrow! (Although DD went a week over, so trying not to get my hopes up.)

Elllimam · 20/04/2015 19:58

18 months between mine :) good so far

Whatabout · 20/04/2015 20:00

I'll have 28 months.

ovumahead · 20/04/2015 20:02

7.5 years!

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 20/04/2015 20:04

Mine will be 13 months - slightly nervous!

Jenny1231990 · 20/04/2015 20:10

12months or just over. Ha.
Took us 18months to finally fall pregnant with our second so we didn't think it would happen so soon after, but like you wouldn't change it for the world and feel very blessed.
I sometimes worry about how il cope, but I just know we will, we have to.
I've noticed This pregnancy has been a lot harder on my body, aches and pains and all. I have a 6year old also. He's so excited and has been fantastic. Take it easy when you can, I'm 37weeks tomorrow so nearing the end and awaiting the arrival.

Congratulations, enjoy every minute, this pregnancy has flown by very fast.

BifsWif · 20/04/2015 20:14

5 and a half years when this little one arrives! Getting pregnant with DS1 was easy, this time not so much. I had a 5 year gap between me and my brother and it was lovely so I'm not worried Smile

HazleNutt · 20/04/2015 21:11

there will be exactly 2 years between mine - I was planning for a slightly smaller gap, but DC2 took a few months

Mummybear1984 · 20/04/2015 22:25

Wow, what a variety!

I don't think there is a right or wrong age gap- pros and cons for everyone.
Mainly the pregnancy is different as still have to look after other child rather than sleep!!

my first is 19yrs old n this lil dude is due in couple weeks! im 42 it was a plesent suprise

fattymcfatfat · 20/04/2015 23:25

I have DS who is 6,
DD who is 16 months and I am due end of July. so will be 19 months between youngest two.

JoanJettPack · 20/04/2015 23:28

Ds1 is 11, Ds2 is 10 (there's only 16 months between them) and ds3 is due on Friday :)

sandgrown · 20/04/2015 23:28

20 months between first two then 21years to the third one!

MummyPiggy87 · 21/04/2015 00:28

There certainly is a variety.
I was concerned as it took us around 3 years to conceive (9 weeks nowGrin) and my eldest is now 8 Shock hoping the age gap closes as they get older!!!

dietcokeisgreat · 21/04/2015 11:56

Exactly 4 yrs. everyone else round here seems to have an obligatory 18-24mo gap, so i am feeling like our gap is HUGE. There is no way we could have coped with a smaller gap really, with work/ professional exams etc. Took 8mo to get pregnant so thwt was a little delay.

Number3cometome · 21/04/2015 11:58

12 years and 8 years when DS is due in July.

Feel like a first time Mum all over again.
