When did dc2 come? Just musing really, have just begun ML at 36 weeks and wondering how long I have to get organised!

I meant when did you go into labour if your first child was vaguely punctual! Early/late or same again?

My first was one day early, second 10 days early and third two days early.

First due date, second labour on due date, born early next morning.

First and second on due date, third arrived a date late according to scan but on 'my' date very lucky with them all, my two sisters both went over by a week.

first started on due date but took a couple of days to arrive. Second 12 days late.

My first was a week early as per EDD.

My second is currently 11 days late as per EDD.

So sorry but no pattern there for me, but I do have a 10 year age gap, so maybe my body has forgotten what it is meant to be doing

My first was induced and late so no help there. But my second began on my due date, then 3rd was 2 week early and began at 37+1. And my 4th was due next month but had him 9 days ago at 34 weeks.

So mine have all got earlier.

37 weeks then 36 weeks! I got feck all ML to myself. In fact both born before I went on leave, and I was packing my hospital bag whilst in labour. My motto for a possible 3rd is I MUST BE PREPARED!

My first was born at 39 weeks, currently 36+1 with DC2 and hoping this one will make an early appearance too!

Thankyou takestwo, hes doing great. He came home on sunday at 8 days old so not too bad at all :)

DC1 - 3 days early
DC2 - 5 days late
(Both breach)

my friend had her dc1 on due date and was then 9 days late with dc2 but it was really quick when it started.

DD on due date. DS 10 days late. Longest 10 days of my life.

Least i have consistency!

DD arrived on her due date, DS was ten days early (arrived at 38 weeks).

No pattern here either I'm afraid, first baby was a week late and second baby surprised us all by being two weeks early!

Dc1 was 7 days overdue dc2 had to be forcibly evicted at 12 days overdue

Dc1 39+6
Dc2 40+0

I'm wondering the same OP! I'm 38+5 with DC2 and DC1 was born at 39 weeks so feel like I'm really waiting for this one to arrive any minute if you know what I mean! Knowing my luck I'll still be sat here waiting in two weeks. At least the sun is shining.

Within 12 hours of leaving work on both occasions. No consistency with dates though. 39+1 and 37+1.

I am one of those really irritating people that say make the most of your time off before the baby arrives, neither of mine even gave me a sodding lie-in !

My mum had:
DC1 42
DC2 41+4
DC3 39+2

Next door neighbour:
DC1 37
DC2 40

So it means nothing at all.
