Can anyone help?!
14 weeks with twins and I feel like my body and mind are giving up!
This morning I am struggling to lift my arms to brush my hair.
I have tried explaining to my husband but he just doesn't get it. I'm not 'just tired' I am exhausted to the point where I feel ill. I can't concentrate, I have no motivation to do anything.
I'm under no illusion that growing twins is going to be harder than growing 1, but is there anything I can do to help alleviate some of it?
Naps are out of the question as I work full time and have a toddler to look after.
Sorry for whining. TIA.

I'm sorry to hear your so exhausted! I remember how tired I was in the first 15 weeks and it's only 1! No words of wisdom but wanted you to know your feelings are valid and I hope it improves.

Have you had your blood test results back yet? Perhaps you could be anaemic?

LP18413 · 20/04/2015 08:02

I've been on iron for the last 5 weeks so I'm pretty sure it's not anaemia.

I have low ferritin levels which is the back up store of iron, the tiredness is consuming me and I'm 22 weeks. (Have been on iron tablets for 12 weeks) Dh finally realised how tired I was when after a full 10 hr sleep I got up with the dc at 7am and he found me asleep on the sofa at 9am :). The only saving grace for me is that although I have 2dc I am a sahm so can nap or sit down. You need to talk to your mw or dr otherwise you will make yourself ill, like me at the moment.......

I had never heard of that cathpip, glad to hear you can get some rest in.
I will definitely mention it at my next mw appointment, shame it's 4 weeks away! :(
