I'm sorry if anyone is offended by the title, I am deeply in shock
I was 3 days late and just took a test to rule it out - I am pregnant
I have 2 DSs (4 and nearly 2) and have had a few surgeries, after the last one the consultant said that me getting pregnant without any help would be on par with winning the lottery odds-wise
My head is spining, apparently it would be due Christmas Eve...

I feel your pain! I gave up waiting this week for AF to arrive, realising on Wednesday that I was 5 days late. Did numerous tests on Thursday, including a digital one and I'm pregnant. I'm 42 and previous to this, me and DH had been trying since March 2010, ended up with a course of IVF in 2013 which didn't work and resulted in us being told there was not a chance in hell we would fall pregnant and that was it. We're due 18th December!

Do you want to be pregnant? If so then congratulations! If you're undecided then my thoughts are with you. We planned this and my head is still spinning, never mind if it came out of the blue!

Congratulations to you too! I must admit, me and DH are both in shock, so many worries at my age! Will have to take each week as it comes I think. Roll on scan time, whenever that will be. So much has changed since I had our DD 7 years ago.......

Thanks everyone, I'm worrying now when to tell people. I have a number of weddings etc coming up in the next few weeks and won't get away with the old 'I'm on anti-biotics' excuse :)
