20 weeks pregnant and exposed to slapped cheek disease

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I've found out today that a child I work with has been diagnosed with slapped cheek disease. I've been for a blood test to check my immunity. The results aren't back until Wednesday and I have to go to work until then. I'm worried that more children may come down with it and if I'm not immune then I'm even more at risk. I've also been ill for a couple of weeks, sore throat, losing my voice, strange spots on my legs and now I'm worrying that I've already got slapped cheek. I haven't spoken to a a Dr, the nurse I spoke to rushed me in for a blood test before the samples got sent off for the weekend.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Dr google is scaring me half to death.

Get a risk assessment done. You should be signed off until you hear results.

At our work pregnant people stay off while they find out if they're immune and then if they aren't immune, they have to stay off for a set number of weeks after the last recorded case. Adults at our work are almost always immune though - I've only worked with one person who wasn't and it was taken v seriously by doctors etc.

Thank you, I'm going to try and see a ADR Minday anyway because I'm still feeling really ill so hopefully they might sign me off or something until the results come back. I'm not immune to German measles despite being vaccinated as a child.
