Is it just the usual?

urine test, BP, measuring tape on tummy etc?

This is my last one - booked for hospital on 1st May for sweep if I haven't started before then.

I would consent to a sweep today if there was one going spare! lol feeling very pregnant and swollen up today!!

My friend's wife had a sweep weekly from 38 wks - but she's in a different health trust area.

Try your luck - first baby the answer will be no more than likely.

It will just be a check up.

eager to know the answer to this as I have mine on Thursday when I'll be 38+4

Yeh, mine was just the same routine as the others - urine test, palpation, baby's heartbeat, blood pressure. I've got an appointment a week today (on my due date) when I'll be offered a sweep, apparently (YES!).

Just a wee update on yesterday - it was a normal appt.

I'm booked for sweep 1st May (39 + 6) and 8th May (40 + 6) if we're still waiting :-)

midwife said she may not see me 8th May as if sweep doesn't work on 1st they'll book induction then.

Everyone is keen to see this baby Smile
