Period post delivery

I am my sure where to put this so hope this is ok. I had dd by c Section 1 month ago. Bf for 3 weeks. Bled for 3 weeks. Started bleeding again today. Is this my period?! Have rung midwives as it seems a bit weird.

Sounds like it might be your period, but your midwife will be able to put your mind at rest.

I bled for about 4 weeks, then it eased off, then I started bleeding again.

That was fun

My postpartum bleeding stopped and started (including a full week of no bleeding in the middle). Wasn't my period though as that didn't return until 10months later.

I bled for 12 weeks am pg with dc2 now though so I must be ok!

I'm still bleeding nearly 8 weeks on some days there's hardly anything then I'll have a few days like a light period it's getting on my nerves now
