B6 after BFP?

Hi,
I got my bfp today after 5 months TTC Smile

For the last two months I have been taking Vitamin B6 as I realised in the first few months of TTC that I had a short luteal phase.

It seems to have definitely helped, but now I'm not sure if I should continue to take it or not?

I have been taking a 25mg tablet with my folic acid every morning.

Thanks in advance x

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

The Pregnacare Max tablets that I take contain 10mg of B6 - I'd maybe stop taking them and switch to a good prenatal vitamin that is perfectly balanced by experts for pregnancy (too much of a good thing and all!). I would also recommend that you start with vitamin D if you're not going to take a prenatal, as Vit D and folic acid are very important and are recommended by the NHS (but would all be combined in a prenatal). Smile

Thank you. Feeling very excited Smile

The folic acid that I currently take has Vitamin D in it, but I think I'll have a look at taking a Pregnancy multivitamin instead.
