How many weeks are you?

I would go to the hospital and get yourself monitored. Hope everything is okay xxx

TheBlonde · 03/11/2006 15:43

Hi mum2o, hope things are okay. Probably best to contact your midwife so that she can give listen to the heartbeat etc.

To get my bump moving I lie on my left hand side, sometimes this might not work so I move my bump around, just gently push it side to side and up and down and this usually generates a kick. If you are not many weeks, I think the baby can turn and kick inside you so won't feel much. Also my baby likes to kick madly for a day and then the next day he will be really quiet. Am crossing fingers for you...

MotherBeaker · 03/11/2006 15:51

can give listen? obviously pg brain has well and truly kicked in!

mum2oliver · 03/11/2006 15:57

Just called hospital and they said its far too early to monitor but she is going to call community midwife to call me so maybe I can go for a listen.
She said its too eary for there to be a pattern but I disagree.I fell it every afternoon as I did with ds.What does anyone else thik of this?

i think you should go and have the midwife listen to the baby......sometimes baby lies with its limbs towards your back, so harder to feel movement..but two days is a fairly long time to not feel the baby....sure everything is ok...but should go and get checked out...and you will feel better too....

left side is good......!

lulumama · 03/11/2006 15:58

x post - are you 26 weeks?

MKG · 03/11/2006 16:22

Odds are everything is fine. Get check out just in case. I almost never felt my ds moving around. Have you been busy lately? If I was very busy, even if he was moving, I didn't notice.

When I had non stress tests before I was induced the monitor showed that he was moving, but I had no idea.

expatmama · 03/11/2006 19:11

have you tried chocolate or something sweet to eat? always gets my LO on the move better than glasses of cold water.

mum2oliver · 03/11/2006 20:28

Everything fine.Went to hear heart beat.Feel bit silly now as am only 21 weeks.Just got it onto my head that something was wrong.Thanx for support.x
