Paint fumes!

Hello lovely ladies!
Me again with yet another panic!!
I started painting our baby's nursery yesterday and did a bit this morning too, I am 30 weeks pregnant and thought it would be ok. But since I've stopped overnight last night I have a sore throat, I didn't really think about it might have been caused by painting so I got on and did a bit this morning, but I now have a really sore cough!!
I'm so worried and wish I never bothered, could this have harmed my baby?
I used Dulux Rich Matt finish paint and on the tub it says low VOC content but its made me feel awful and like I've breathed far too much in or something!
I would've been painting for around 2 hours last night and 1 hour this morning- so not long- but the paint must be really strong to make me feel this horrid!
Has anyone else been painting their nurseries? Feel like I shouldn't of done it and maybe googled it first! I didn't think.....
I'm so worried now

I don't think modern paint is at all dangerous - especially if low VOC. And you'd feel dizzy/ headachey not have a sore throat and cough. Sounds like its just coincidence to me.

Low voc paint at thirty weeks with the windows open should be absolutely fine. Painting can be quite hard work (all that stretching!) so it's more likely you just physically overdid it a bit and maybe didn't drink enough water. :)

Okay thankyou, I get so worried over nothing! Have felt rubbishy today, I hope it's coincidence!
Definitely put me off painting! Poor hubby going to have to do it now GrinGrin !

I had a similar problem, we are having an extension built at the back of our semi. Yesterday the builders were using some kind of adhesive to attach plaster board and it smelt quite strong. I shut the door to our spare room and stayed in there and asked the builders to open all the windows in the extension. I couldn't smell any fumes in the spare room so thought I was ok. last night I had a slight headache and stayed awake panicking that maybe the fumes had affected me and was the baby ok.
