Well, when we decided to stop using contraception and ttc, I promised myself I wouldn't go testing mad and would be sensible, waiting until my period was actually late etc.

However, two months in and after a couple of days of cramping pains 8 ish dpo, followed by feeling very tired (though this could be blamed on night shifts!), fainting at work and painful breasts, I took a test two days ago which was very faintly positive, and another this morning that was the same (although a different kind of test which I think might be less sensitive).

According to my faithful app I'm not due my period until tomorrow so plan on doing another test maybe Friday but just wondered if anyone else was going through similar? Not sure I dare believe it is positive, and that if it is it's going to last. I'm in my mid 30s so figured this might all be a really long and difficult process.

My faint positive is 10yrs old now and taking up too much space in my bed with his sister this morning Grin
Congratulations!

I remember this from one of my PGs.

I tested before AF was due, and the positive I got then stayed positive.

Unless it's a faulty test kit, it has detected the hormonal changes characteristic of PG. Very early days, hope it goes well.

(Any 'symptoms' btw before you are late are almost certainly something your body does frequently, but you've never paid attention to. Been there, done that too!)

My faint positive is currently 7 weeks old having his bottle. A positive is a positive no matter how faint it is congratulations Flowers
I was the same as you though I didn't quite believe it and did about 5 tests it only started to sink in when I did a digital and saw the word 'pregnant ' (these can be less sensitive tho so if your v early it might not show up on a digital yet)

Thank you for your reassurance - and for making me feel I'm not going mad!
