C section and internal scarring

I had an ELCS 6 months ago and the external scar had healed well. I did some fairly vigorous exercise on Saturday and while stretching last night felt a long thin sausage just above my scar and inside. Since poking it (!) it's very tender. Anyone else have a similar experience? Should I head to the GP do you think?

I had quite a thick 'sausage' above my external scar before getting pregnant again (stretched out now!). Things were also tender for a while. It's probably all fine but best to get it checked if you are worried

It really does take a while to heal. I have had 3 cs and had to have keyhole surgery to remove pelvic adhesions at one stage.

Thanks - think i'll go and get it checked

I had a whole year of post natal physiotherapy to break up adhesions in my abdomen. The muscles and nerves and connective tissue were all cut through and scar tissue grew round my bladder too. I had a 12 inch crash incision though.

. I passed out in the gym when some of the internal scars tore once, and had to have such a lot of internal and external massage as all my muscles were caught up with nerves etc. OMG the pain. My whole belly and pelvic floor was a rock hard throbbing mess of scar tissue.

I had dry needling too and it was excruciating. They physios had never seen anything like it. Sex was completly off the menu.

Much better now after the massage and manipulation, but still painful to run, or wear tight trousers, 10 years on.
