Painful breasts

Hi, I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and have the most painful breasts. It hurts to put my bra on, take it off. Walk/move without bra on. I've just had a shower and reaching up was extremely painful, to the point that I am considering going to see my gp (not booked in with midwife yet), is this a normal part of pregnancy and would I be wasting GP's time?

Mine were extremely painful for a few weeks in the first trimester, I had a growth spurt and remember how sore they were

I had the same. It was very painful at first but gradually eased off towards the end of the first trimester.

Totally normal, I had the same with both my pregnancies. It tends to ease off after the first trimester. It's hormonal, not sure what a dr could do about it if you went to see them.

I think I ended up sleeping in my bra as every movement was painful. Can you try a sports bra, or would that make it even worse?

My boobs have just blossomed, and are so sore/tender (11.1/2 weeks).. I had a shooting pain in one of them before.. Weird sensation.. But it's completely normal given the hormonal changes our bodies are experiencing..

If you think it feels overly tender, or you feel a lump/mass then contact the GP to rule out non-pregnancy related issues :)

Thanks everyone. Didn't get this last time. Feeling more reassured now.
