How many muslin cloths do i really need?

I have bought 9 muslin cloths. Is this enough? Or should I buy some more? I'm a bit of a loser and love laundry.

What's the general consensus?

Think that's enough. I got a bumper pack of 20 and after 2 dc still have a few that never got used!!!

I've got about 20 I think, and I don't have a particularly sicky baby. they are bloody useful though. Best ones I've got are from Aldi, really soft and cheap.

I've got 10 and I will probably buy another 10+ if I have a second baby because they were always running out. I still use them almost daily with my 1 year old to wipe sticky hands/face, as a makeshift bib, sunshade for pram, to mop up water/milk spillages or wees on the changing table.

I bought some but never used them. All of my friends swore by them but I never really got they were for. I obviously didn't need them.

Neither of mine were sicky so I never used the 20 or so I bought (from ebay). I quite like the look of the giant pretty ones, but again, not sure i'd actually use them

Mine isn't sickly but I use them while feeding, to lie on (leg leaks as newborn with skinny legs!), to line car seat in cold weather (thin but indoors warm), to drape over the pram, quick wipe etc.

We have about 10 or so. Always some in the wash/clean.

I would say about 20 for us- but then my son had severe reflux. Not just a bit of sick- whole feeds came back up regularly until we got it sorted. Bibs wouldn't have helped at all.

But I would say about 9 is good to start with- you can always buy more and they sell them everywhere. I was often having to buy a new packet when out and about in the early days!

I've never used one with DS so wouldn't go overboard with them. I've just given away packs that were bought for us

Loads, so handy with a sicky baby and then still handy when sicky baby grows into a snotty toddler with a nose like a tap.
