We had builders come round to fix a cupboard, before I knew it and without asking they cleaned up using what I think must have been white spirit. The whole flat stunk. We immediately opened all the Windows, but had to stay in for 30mins to feed my little girl who is 13 months. The windows have now been open all day and the smell has gone, but my nose is still burning a little. I am worried about my daughters exposure and mine as I am 12 weeks pregnant, I know that white spirit exposure in pregnancy is bad.
