Take folic acid or a pregnancy multivitamin. You can either give your GP a call or in some areas fill in a form on your hospitals website and self refer if you know which hospital you want. Pains are quite normal unless they get very bad
Congratulations!

Be calm is the next thing to do. It is normal to have a few aches and pains, headaches, tiredness. Don't worry. It's frustrating but there's very little to do except be good to yourself.

Start by taking a folic acid supplement, sanatogen mum to be or something like that. Be mindful of what you eat and drink. The NHS website has a list of foods to avoid. Then, you will need to book in with a midwife at 8 weeks.

Phone your doctor's on Monday and they'll probably just book you in with the midwife in a few weeks time. Niggly period type pains are normal. Congratulations!

I am 8weeks today and know exactly how you feel! Also found out at 4werks. I went to see my gp a few days after finding out, they referred me to midwife and haven't seen anyone since which feels odd! However have a booking in appt soon and scan date now. As PP said, take a pregnancy supplement I am taking seven seas. Avoid the foods and drinks on nhs list. And enjoy, there is ups and down, like sore boobs, nausea and light cramping which I have been told is normal, odd spotting which I have also been reassured about. And there is the ups like tracking your pregnancy on an app that lets you know size of bean and what's happening Smile I am very anxious and nervous as first pregnancy but try to enjoy every minute Smile
