40 weeks, sweep failed, how to progress things

Heya guys im 40 weeks today i had a sweep on the thursday , a little bit of period like pain and back pain cane along, but since then theres been nothing, iv tried walking a bit more, and other stuff but still nothing, what is the deal about a birthing ball as noone has really recommend this to me before, tia x

Baby will come when ready, nothing will speed it up unless coming anyway. Ball might help you be more comfortable and encourage baby into a good position.

Another sweep ina couple days? I had I think 3 with baby number 2 and went into labour the evening of the day I had the last sweep. However I had been at 3cm with membranes bulging for at least a week!

May I suggest cough having a bit of 'me time' if you know what I mean? Wth both of mine waters went within a minute of this Blush (in bed at night thankfully)
