A bit of a random question... I am currently 6 months pregnant and feel like my wedding and engagement rings are getting a bit tight (particularly in this weather at the moment) and just wondered if it is best to just take them off now until after the baby is born and what point did you have to take yours off? As the baby is due in the summer they are going to have to come off anyway and I don't want them to get stuck... Thank you Smile

I just stopped wearing mine when they started to get difficult to take off (and left an imprint on my finger) because I didn't want them to get totally stuck one day!

Took my wedding ring off and wore it on a chain around my neck in both pregnancies.

Have taken mine off this week after finding the same thing. They were getting tight a few weeks back but only at the end of the day but they were now uncomfortable with it. Like you didn't want to leave it too late and have to have them cut off. Feel lost without them though and daren't wear them on a chain

Take them off - I used to work at a jewellers and had to cut wedding rings off pregnant women on numerous occasions!!

I took mine off around 6 months, and bought a cheap silver set a few sizes too big to wear until my fingers returned to normal.

I took mine off about two weeks ago, so at 30 weeks. They do still go on/off with a little effort but I didn't want them to get jammed! I did so last time as well. Engagement ring is in jewellery box and wedding ring is on a chain round my neck.

I took mine off when I was about six months pregnant - I wished I'd done it sooner because it was painful and required a lot of hand cream!

I'm 27 weeks and have now left it too late to take them off, they are well and truly stuck!

I took mine off as I didn't want to get it cut off. cant remember when but probably around 6 months.

I took my engagement ring off at about 35 weeks but left my wedding ring on as it's a bit bigger.

I had no problems getting it on/ off until it came to time for my EMCS; my fingers (and feet) had swelled a lot during labour and it was well and truly stuck. One of the midwives just stuck a plaster over it for me so all was ok.

I kept trying to get it off, and when i finally managed, I left it off for a week or so until my sausage fingers returned to normal.
