Hi - I just wanted to update on my second early scan today and ask if anyone had had similar experiences.
Everyone has been so lovely and supportive - I had spotting pre 5 weeks followed by an early scan at 6 which was inconclusive (empty sac dating 1-2 weeks behind)
Well I had my second scan today at 8 weeks and it was semi good news - there was a lovely heartbeat (still about 1-2 weeks behind so guess despite getting a bfp at 4 weeks I must have ovulated / implanted late).
So we were all smiles until the doctor mentioned I has a heart shaped uterus and the baby had implanted close (5mm away) from tubes.
She got a consultants second opinion and he confirmed not ectopic but I need to go back in 2 weeks to check it's growing down ok. He seemed to imply he wasn't too worried and he'd dealt with closer which were ok but of course Google is not my friend and I'm now scared it will go the wrong way and become a danger.
Anyone with any experience?
