I'm in desperate need of the above! Got a new bra three weeks ago and already outgrown it!

Any recommendations? I'm in Southampton if anyone knows any local stockists.

NB have tried so many non wired on and they hurt and are so uncomfortable.

You're still pregnant, or do you need a nursing bra already?
If pregnant then it's quite likely that the bra you buy right now won't fit you when nursing anyway - you're likely to go up in cup size, when the milk comes in.

There is actually no need to wear special maternity bras during pregnancy - just buy normal, underwired bras in bigger size. You will also have loads more selection and better prices.

Nearly 25 weeks pregnant. Didn't know if nursing bras would better suit but I'll look at non pregnancy ones as well. Thanks.

I have 38GG boobs. I am 22+4 . I am currently wearing the Panache Soft Cup Sophie Bra which I got from Bravissimo. I was in a Freya Deco before that but the wires were irritating me.

I am really impressed with the Panache, I tried on about 10 soft bras in bravissimo and this was the only one that didn't cause my boobs to point into opposite directions! under a top it looks like i am wearing a normal bra. The Sophie also comes in nursing which I will be getting just before I reach term.

However, when I am wearing a dress or looking nice I will still pull out the Freya Deco as it gives an amazing shape, but I can't wear for long periods anymore.

My advice would be to go to bravissimo and try on loads. Big boobs are expensive during pregnancy, but we need to look after them!

Have you tried Hot Milk lingerie? I used to fit maternity bras and they supported better than a wired bra and look lovely :)

Underwired nursing bras (of which there are very few models available) look exactly like normal bras, just with clips, so they're easier to open. No benefit wearing them during pregnancy already.

I'm 26 weeks and in 32G at the moment (in normal bras). Last time was HH during nursing - I didn't find any non-wired nursing bras (and I tried many) that would offer enough support and not give me a droopy monoboob. As said, there are not many wired ones available, especially in this size. So if you find the same, you might want to consider my solution - buy normal underwired bras and convert them with nursing clips yourself. Very easy to do.

Thank you for all your suggestions, I'll go get remeasured and take it from there

I'm 13 weeks today, and yesterday had to buy a new bra (was 30E, have bought 32E so my back can expand a bit - am sure I will need to buy bigger later on!)

I bought mine in Debenhams in Southampton. They do a good selection of DD+ bras there.

Buy normal under wired bras. No point worrying about nursing bras as you could well have a bigger cup but have your back size go back to normal.

When it comes to nursing, buy clips off eBay and convert under wired bras you like. Absolute genius product.Smile

I was a 30 H when pregnant. Underwires are fine as long as you get measured regularly. I second recommendation for the Sophie bra. It was the only one that fitted me properly when I was feeding DS 28 G. Hot milk has pretty selection but didn't go anywhere near my cup size.

Anita do fab underwired nursing bras but are about £35 each but well worth the investment. Got mine from figleaves.
