No movement since 7am?

I'm 25 weeks and have been feeling loads of movement everyday since about 20 weeks. Nothing since 7am today - what would you do?

Have you tried drinking a cold drink to see if that wakes baby up?

Ring triage and see what they say. Technically, movement monitoring is only done from about 28 weeks as they still have a lot of room in there and may not have an established pattern anyway (not sure mine does at 30 weeks, either!). My consultant and midwife also say babies sometimes have 'duvet days'. However, if you're worried, always call the midwives. They've seen it all before and would much prefer you to call than worry. I've done it three times and the relief and reassurance is totally worth it.

I would ring pregnancy assessment or labour ward they will most likely ask you to go in to be monitored, I went in a few times when I was worried. In the meantime try having a cold drink then lie down and really concentrate to see if you are getting any little movements that you might miss if you are busy. Im sure everythings fine but always best to check x

My baby has also been a little quiet today but a sit down, cold drink and a chocolate bar done the trick.
Please always seek medical advice if in any doubt. Hopefully you already have or have felt movement by now. Good luck x

In the end phoned in and was advised to do the cold drink, lie down, concentrate. Felt a couple of tiny flutters after that so thought all okay. MW actually phoned me back to see how doing - when I told her she said to come in so I went in and she checked heartbeat. All fine! The relief.

Have only just seen this post, but glad to hear that you went in and everything was ok! I have been in for reduced movements 3 times and every time the midwives have been lovely, and thankfully everything has always been ok.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy
