Hospital Stay

Hi....
I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant with identical twin boys and try thoughts are now turning to delivery & hospitals. I haven't been told much about either of these, all I know it that if they haven't made an entrance by 36 weeks I will be induced.
I guess my question is at how many weeks were your twins born? How heavy were they? And how long did you have to stay in hospital for? If at all? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, I'm sure I'll be told all of this in due course but I'm a bit impatient! Ha.
Thank you x

I'm a bit ahead of you at 33 weeks and non-identical twins. I've been told I'd be induced at week 37 or have an elective section if twin one was breach at the 32 week scan (which they were). My midwife said if I was induced I should expect to be in for 2-3 days for the induction and then 2-3 days after the birth. If it was a section I'd be in for the 2-3 days after birth. This was based on there being no problems and he said the time post birth was mainly to make sure I was happy with feeding/care. This was in my original trust but I've just moved so meet the new midwife tomorrow so will update if I find out they do anything differently here.

I'm 37 weeks with non identical twins. I have a scan tomorrow. The consultant has intimated that I will be induced at 38 weeks but as that is my eldest's 5th birthday I will not be going in unless there is a medical reason! Taking the weekend into account I am anticipating 38+4. I'm not going to definitely do it though - I might wait and see if I can go a bit longer provided babies monitoring is OK. I am anticipating staying in for a couple of days (because I am looking forward to a break from my other kids and the housework ;-) ) my consultant said I could go home after 3 hours if all was well.
