It's really normal I've found that the hair loss peaks at around 5 months it should settle down soon :)

That's bang on track. Hair loss seems to reach its peak 6 months after birth!

AnythingNotEverything · 08/04/2015 14:50

Hair loss can be delayed if you bf. I lost a lot at about 9 months when we cut feeds down.

NickyEds · 08/04/2015 16:30

My hair loss started at 6-7 months when I stopped bf. It only lasted a couple of months but I was left with loads of annoying short bits as it grew back.

Hair falls out after pregnancy?? I didn't know this Blush I have horribly thin hair as it is Sad

hobNong · 08/04/2015 17:17

I'm breastfeeding my 8 month old and my hair is still looking thin. I've been told it should improve when I stop breastfeeding... We'll see.

It might be worth getting your iron levels checked out as this can affect hair loss. Though after having a baby sent it a year for your hair to recover? I lost a lot of hair but it turned out my iron levels were really low.

Hotpotpie · 08/04/2015 19:54

Rummikub beat me to it, I lost loads due to low iron

gamerchick · 08/04/2015 19:58

It's normal.. One of the most irritating parts of sprogging Angry you have the itchy spiky stage to look forward too when it grows back.

Mine fell out until 8 or 9 months IIRC. Carried on BF after that though and it stopped falling out. Am pregnant again now and my hair is fabulous

Prepared for weird monk fringe again in 6 months or so though.

Sounds like that time I shaved my pubes. Sad
