- I can't stop thinking about going on maternity leave, even though it's a good 3 and a bit months away.
- I work in a stats-heavy, data detail job which I usually enjoy. These days, someone sends me a spreadsheet and I sit and stare at it and sigh for about 3 hours. It takes me twice as long to complete any task as it used to.
- Whenever I do set myself to a task, I get distracted by something 'baby-related' (trust me, these have been tenuous at best) after about half an hour, and find myself Googling random stuff.
- I find myself zoning out and staring at random spots on the wall for very long periods.
Anyone else? I'm 22+2 so it's only going to get worse! Fortunately I work in a University so things are going to get pretty quiet by mid-May once exams kick in then the students bugger off for the summer; think I may just get away with it- thankfully my employers are very understanding and tolerant! It's just frustrating because I'm usually so on the ball at work; it's like I've developed ADD...even the fact that I managed to count 1-4 on the points above is nothing short of miraculous!
