A clear show?

Hi really appreciate the advice on here, lots of help especially as my partner is in deep slumber and I can't jump on the bed, wake him up and ask if this is normal as his guess is as good as mine anyway but . Just went to the loo and some jelly blob appeared but it was clear and not blood stained. I'm wondering if this is the mucus membrane breaking down. Does this mean I'll be going into labour soon. I'm 37 weeks, have had a baby six years ago but never had a show and waters didn't break just went into full contractions.

I'm so desperate for my baby to arrive, I've found this pregnancy so hard and feel my body has had enough. I know the baby is classed as full term now so I'm just hoping this bobby thing is an indication of something happening soon.

I have no idea but just wanted to sympathise as I've also got up and left DH in bed. 38+4 and having stomach cramps. .
I had a clear show on Friday after a sweep, I think in theory it's not as promising as a bloody one as the plug can regenerate

I had a clear show about 5 days before I went into full labour with my second.

At my NCT class on Thursday the lady said a show can be clear all streaked with blood, different for everyone. She did also say though that it isn't always a sign that labour is iminent, some people can have a show a few days before labour starts and others a couple of weeks.

I had a clear show as you described with first. Contractions started 2 hours later then it started being blood tinged.
With my second it went straight to the pink tinged show without the clear part.
