I am trying to prepare myself for possibly going into hospital early or bleeding anytime due to low lying placenta and I just wanted to no is this definitely 'placenta praevia' ? my notes say 'the lower segment of the placenta crosses the internal OS by at least 3cm. re scan at 36 weeks. although it is unlikely this will move away from the OS. I am currently 32weeks. I just wafnt to prepare for maybe a big bleed or possibly a early birth or stay in hosp as I have 2 other DC. Thank you Smile Smile Smile

Yeah if the placent covers the os then it is placenta Praevia. On the positive they are aware of it and are very used to managing it. Good luck xx
