Second pregnancy 7 weeks, nausea and fatigue seem worse this time. 4 year old at home with me I'm finding it really hard, as all I want to do sleep or lie on the sofa fighting off the nausea. DH is starting to look annoyed now, cause that is all he sees me do and he's having to deal with DS most of the time. Luckily he works from home. I don't care though, it'll probably be gone in a short while (please let it be gone soon) and I will feel good again, right???

Thanks, i really do hope it goes soon. I feel bad for DS as he wants to do things with me and I keep having to tell him 'later'...then he goes and walks straight into DH's office and nags him.

I don't have a child, im pregnant with number one currently. But I can empathise with the fatigue. I frequently need to nap during the day but have dogs and horses and a job to do. Sometimes DH has to do dogs and horses because I just don't have the strength in the morning and need to save it to go to work.
Hugs xx it won't last... I'm starting to feel better (although im quite enjoying nap time). I hope your DH tries to understand how you're feeling Flowers xx

Pregnant with number 3. Over the worst nausea / fatigue now at 16 weeks. Unfortunately peppa pig, the iPad and the microwave did all my parenting in the last 3 months. Was the only way to cope but weaning them off screens and "little dish" ready meals will take the rest of this pregnancy. And then when baby arrives it will be back to screens and ready meals....

I'm reading a lot that 2nd pregnancies the sickness is worse. I'm on my first (9 half weeks) and struggling with fatigue and nausea so don't want to think what 'worse' is like. My DH is a really active, busy guy so for me to have spent the last 3 weeks sat doing nothing (using remaining strength to do my day job and /or not throw up) I feel lazy.
Call it ignorance but I never thought 1st trimester would be this exhausting physically and mentally.
